Oregon Announces Signing of Five-Star WR Gatlin Bair
Well it isn’t the February national signing day we have known in the past. But it’s still signing day. And Oregon has just one announcement to make joining its 2024 class.
Burley (Idaho) wide receiver Gatlin Bair was just announced by Oregon as signed. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder announce his commitment to Oregon last Saturday. Bair was the only target remaining in the 2024 prep class for Oregon following the early signing period in December.
Bair picked Oregon over Michigan, who was long thought to be the leader. He will however take a mission so his enrollment to Oregon will be delayed at least a year but likely two. (Depends on his mission.)

With the addition of the No. 30 ranked player in the country, per the On3 Industry Rankings, Oregon’s 2024 class sits at No. 4 nationally. The Ducks were No. 1 in the B1G until Ohio State was able to land Alabama’s early quarterback signee Julian Sayin. That move pushed the Buckeyes just ahead of the Ducks. (FWIW, 247Sport has not yet factored in this move in the rankings but will)
There are no more expected announcements from Oregon today and Lanning is not expected to have any media availability. It’s essentially ‘One and Done’ today for the Ducks.
Oregon signed 27 prep and JUCO level players in this 2024 class.
