Oregon Center Iapani Laloulu Talks Offensive Line Growth This Spring
Oregon will bring in a lot of new faces along the offensive line this season. But one returning key will be the center Iapani Laloulu this year. He’s been in the Oregon program a few years which has given him the chance to grow and develop.
It’s clear he’s being viewed as a leader among that group. Which will be a critical component given all of the new faces. Laloulu met with media following Tuesday’s practice to talk about that role and the group.

On Being a Leader:
“I think stepping in and being here for three years, I’m just learning udner a lot of dudes that have been here before. One, like Steven Jones and guys like Marcus Harper and everyone else. For them to give me the role and see me as a leader, shout out to them.”
On Setting the ‘Oregon’ Standard:
“It’s very crucial, we created a standard to play here and be a student-athlete at the University of Oregon. There’s a standard and we are just bringing them up.”
