PODCAST: Xavier Lherisse Commits to Oregon
Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class continued to pick up steam on Wednesday when the Ducks picked up a commitment from four-star Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie safety Xavier Lherisse.
Lherisse is the first defensive back commitment this cycle for the Ducks and he joins a growing Florida pipeline to Eugene.
The newest Duck was visited by Dan Lanning and the Oregon coaching staff during the January contact period and previously named Oregon his leader prior to announcing his commitment. Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class remains at the No. 1 spot according to On3 as USC gives chase.
The spring months will be important for Oregon recruiting as Lanning and company host top recruits from across the country on unofficial visits and hope to get them back on campus for official visits before it’s decision time.

Max and Justin also dive into some early thoughts on the 2025 NFL Combine. Oregon is sending a program record 12 players to Indianapolis to participate in the combine and the Ducks could be in line to break another program record for players selected in a single draft.
