Oregon Hiring Former Washington DC Bob Gregory
Oregon is making another defensive staff hire under Dan Lanning. This time another off-field role has been filled by a well-known name for Oregon fans.
Former University of Washington defensive coordinator Bob Gregory is set to join Oregon’s staff as a defensive analyst. He spent his last 8 coaching seasons on the Washington staff in some capacity. Last season he also served as the interim head coach following the dismissal of Jimmy Lake.

On3’s Matt Zenitz first reported the move that has been rumored for a week or two now.
Gregory is a native of the Northwest and the state of Washington. He graduated from Washington State university in 1986. He broke into the coaching ranks at Washington in 1987. He has coached at Oregon twice before. He was a GA from 1989-1990 and coached DB’s from 1998-2000.
