Oregon Loses Freshman WR to Transfer Portal
Monday afternoon one of the Ducks young wide receivers entered the transfer portal. From Lanning’s 2024 class, Millikan (Calif.) wide receiver Ryan Pellum has entered the portal. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder was a four-star signee from the 2024 class.
Pellum was the No. 171 ranked player in the 2024 class according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was ranked as the No. 28 best receiver nationally.
Pellum recorded no stats this season for Oregon. He was mainly a backup on special teams in his one year career.

Oregon’s wide receiver room seems to be a bit of a work in progress. With Pellum departing, he also joins Tez Johnson and Traeshon Holden who are also out of eligibility. The Ducks signed two receivers in the 2025 class in five-star Dakorien Moore and four-star Cooper Perry. Following his signing with Oregon, four-star receiver Dallas Wilson asked to be released and later joined the Florida class.
Pellum becomes Oregon’s 7th departure from the program not counting any of the 2025 signees changing their decisions after signing. (Wilson, Sagapolutele)
