Oregon TE Commit Trending to Tennessee

On Sunday Oregon fans were alerted one of its commits were trending to another team. The term flip was being thrown around when talking about tight end commit DaSaahn Brame. By Monday the talk had really heated up including a ‘flip’ prediction from On3’s Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons. And now myself.

The four-star from Derby (Kan.) committed to Oregon less than a month ago on June 29. At the time of his commitment, although Tennessee had charged hard, the Ducks were able to hold on to its lead.

Oregon is in need of tight ends in this 2025 recruiting cycle. Previously Oregon was on the short list for a number of the nation’s top tight ends but only secured a commitment from Brame. The other top targets committed to other programs.

The Ducks currently have 16 verbal commits and the No. 5 ranked recruiting class in the country. As noted they will need to work on securing some tight end commitments with depth being a big issue in the future.
