REPORT: Oregon Wide Receivers Dakorien Moore and Gary Bryant Jr. Unavailable vs. No. 15 USC
The No. 7 Oregon Ducks (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) will be without two of their top wide receivers against No. 15 USC. True freshman Dakorien Moore and redshirt senior Gary Bryant Jr. will miss Saturday’s game due to injury, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Moore, a former 5-star recruit from Duncanville, Texas, is believed to be dealing with a knee injury of some sort. He’s scored three touchdowns this season and leads Oregon in receiving yards (443) and is second on the team in receptions (28). The 5-foot-11, 195-pound wideout hasn’t played since October 25 when the Ducks defeated the Wisconsin Badgers 21-7 in Eugene.
Bryant Jr. hasn’t played since November 8 when the Ducks defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes on the road in Iowa City. He caught one pass in the first half, went down with an ankle injury, and wouldn’t return to action. Bryant has caught 25 passes for 299 yards and four touchdowns this season.
In their absence Oregon will lean on wide receivers Malik Benson, Jeremiah McClellan and Cooper Perry. The Ducks also feature one of the top tight end rooms in the country, headlined by Kenyon Sadiq, Jamari Johnson and Roger Saleapaga.
