Report: Oregon WR Coach Junior Adams 'Expected' to the NFL
Super bowl Sunday kicked off with some big news for Oregon football. Although it’s not really the kind of news you want to hear if you’re Dan Lanning.
Oregon wide receiver coach Junior Adams is being reported by multiple outlets as the leading candidate for the wide receiver position with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. It’s being reported he will coach wide receivers for the Cowboys if a deal is finalized.
Adams has been one of Oregon’s best recruiters since joining the staff. He has been a part of the Oregon staff since 2022 after coming over from Washington.
So far Lanning has been fortunate to hold on to his coaching staff following the regular season. Running backs coach Ra’Shaad Samples was linked to a few positions, including one with the Cowboys but remains with Oregon.

At Oregon, Adams has been a stellar recruiting including landing 5-Star wide receiver Dakorien Moore in this last class.
This will be Adams’ first season in the NFL after beginning his coaching career at Montana State in 2004.
