Bourque is the second pledge to the Gamecocks today after Black Mountain (N.C.) Charles D. Owen four-star middle infielder Mia Roland announced a commitment to the Gamecocks on social media Tuesday afternoon.
The Gamecocks now have five commitments for the class of 2027.
Last week, South Carolina added Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Carolina Forest four-star pitcher Kaysen Warehime, Atlanta (Ga.) Riverwood four-star pitcher May Weis, and Fox Lake (Wis.) Beaver Dam three-star corner infielder Kendall Fakes to the class following weekend visits to the school.
