Three-star linebacker Keenan Britt signs with South Carolina
Wednesday is Signing Day across college football, and that means recruits are putting pen to paper. Because of that, South Carolina officially added three-star linebacker Keenan Britt to its 2026 class when he signed his paperwork.

Britt is ranked No. 595 in Rival’s Industry Ranking with a grade of 88.0. He is also the No. 20 player in Alabama, regardless of position, and the No. 50 linebacker in the nation. The Oxford, AL, native committed to the Gamecocks on Aug. 10, 2024 and remained pledged even through interest from other programs. He took his official visit the weekend of June 6.
Britt is the younger brother of former Auburn linebacker K.J. Britt, who plays for the Miami Dolphins. Like his brother, Britt will play linebacker at the college level, despite rushing the passer in high school. He was formerly rated by the recruiting industry as an EDGE rusher and holds a four-star rating as a defensive end by another major recruiting outlet.
