G.W. Carver High School in New Orleans, LA, founded in 1958, is a beacon of academic and athletic achievement. After Hurricane Katrina, the school rebuilt and reopened under Collegiate Academies in 2016, offering a college-aligned curriculum and a wide array of extracurricular activities.
