Personal Life

Aijha Blackwell arrived at Baylor for the 2022-2023 season as one of the top players available in the Transfer Portal. At Mizzou, she was a second-team All-SEC pick in 2020 and 2021, and she was a member of the 2019-2020 All-SEC Freshman team. Blackwell averaged 14.9 points and 13 rebounds for the Tigers in 2021-2022 and finished with the highest single-season rebounding average in program history. Originally from St. Louis Cardinal Ritter Prep, Blackwell was considered the top prospect in Missouri’s 2019 class and a top-10 prospect overall. Blackwell was also a member of the USA U18 National Team that won gold at the 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championships. She is the daughter of Ernest and Amy Blackwell. Her father was a four-year letter winner at Missouri and drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1998. Blackwell has been active on social media and has executed NIL deals with Bumble, SoFi and Moolah Kicks.
