Natural athlete with the arm talent, movement skills and playmaking ability to translate at a high level. Measured in at 6-foot-2.5, 200 pounds with 9.5-inch hands prior to his senior season. A loose, coordinated athlete with a pliable arm. Throws with a ¾ to side-arm delivery. Has the arm strength to touch all areas of the field. Able to generate considerable rotation throughout his upper body, leading to the ability to deliver without having his feet set. Shows good field vision, easily identifying open receivers downfield. Strafes in the pocket to avoid pass rushers. Made some remarkable improvisational plays as a senior, avoiding the pass rush and making high-difficulty throws on the run. A tough, nimble runner who’s a threat on scrambles and designed runs. Was playing the best football of his career as a senior prior to a season-ending injury. Completed 68.5% of his passes for 1,456 yards (13.1 yards per attempt) and 18 touchdowns against zero interceptions in 6.5 games. Also rushed for 319 yards and 8 touchdowns. Has a number of positive indicators and a very strong overall multi-sport and athletic profile. Doubles as a linebacker for his high school team. A 4-sport athlete (basketball, baseball, track). A double-digit scorer on the hardwood. Also a scratch golfer. Was virtually always the best athlete on the field in high school, so will need to adjust to the uptick in the speed of the game at the next level. Missed the second half of his senior season with a UCL injury and had some arm issues at the Elite 11 Finals. Can improve mechanics, as he has a tendency to swing his back foot within the throwing motion. Physical ability, movement skills and sterling athletic background point to projectable upside as one of the top quarterback prospects in a deep 2025 cycle.
