After recording 30 catches for 450 yards in his high school career, Andrew Armstrong was an unranked prospect coming out of Dallas Bishop Dunne in the 2019 recruiting class. He signed with Texas A&M-Commerce, where he redshirted his freshman year. In 2021, he played in nine games and had 15 receptions for 297 yards and three scores. But he developed into one of FCS’s best pass-catchers in 2022. He racked up 1,020 yards receiving on 62 receptions for 13 scores. After the 2022 season, Armstrong entered the Transfer Portal.
