Originally from Cincinnati (Ohio) Indian Hills High School, Anna Podojil entered the 2022 season at Arkansas as one of college soccer’s most decorated players. She made an immediate impact in Fayetteville, earning SEC Freshman of the Year honors in 2019. Podojil was also selected third-team All-American that season. As a sophomore in 2020, became the first United Soccer Coaches first-team All-American and SEC Forward of the Year in program history. Podojil racked up seven goals and team-leading 10 assists for 24 points. As a junior, she led the SEC in goals (16) and points (38), earning her a spot as an All-SEC first-teamer. Podojil scored six of the Hogs’ game-winning goals, including the OT winner at Texas A&M. She’s been invited to three USWNT U18 training camps and was part of the USWNT player pool for the U18 age group. Both parents, Rebecca and Dan Podojil, ran track and field for Miami of Ohio from 1993-97. Her sister, Ellie, is also on the Arkansas soccer team.
