Personal Life

I switched from soccer to tackle football in 8th grade, and that’s when I discovered how much I love this sport. What started as a new challenge quickly became a passion, and since then I’ve committed myself to improving every part of my game—physically, mentally, and technically. 2025 was my first varsity season at Portage Central High School, I serve as a rotational wide receiver while contributing on multiple special teams units, including kickoff, kick return, and the front-line hands team for onside recovery. Those roles require focus, quick decision-making, and dependable hands, and I take pride in earning trust by doing the details right—alignment, blocking, effort, and finishing plays. I’m preparing to step into the WR1 role for my senior year, and I approach that opportunity with urgency and humility. My focus is on becoming a complete receiver who can be relied on in any situation, while continuing to grow as a leader through consistency, coachability, and daily work. Being part of an undefeated 11–0 team that won the 2025 SMAC Division 2 and District Championships and advanced to the Michigan State Semifinals taught me what high standards, discipline, and accountability truly look like. Our team recorded six shutouts, including four straight, reinforcing the importance of preparation, trust, and execution. Competing at that level showed me how championship programs operate and what it takes to sustain success week after week. During the offseason, I train at ETS Performance in Kalamazoo to build strength, speed, explosiveness, and mental toughness. I was recently selected as a wide receiver for the Legacy 7v7 Michigan – Kalamazoo (KZOO) team, competing against top regional talent and sharpening my route running, releases, timing, and ability to win one-on-one matchups. Over the ' 25 holiday break, I attended IMG Academy Football Camp in Bradenton, Florida, gaining national-level competition and coaching exposure. I also spend my summers attending college camps, participating in team lifts, and focusing on speed and agility training to continue preparing for the next level. My goal is to play college football while earning a degree that challenges me and prepares me for life beyond the field. I’m driven by competition, consistency, and the belief that real growth comes from the work that most people don’t see. My faith keeps me grounded and reminds me to stay humble, grateful, and focused on being a positive influence on and off the field. I’m ready to bring effort, accountability, and leadership to a college program that values both character and performance.
