Azzi Fudd arrived at UConn for the 2021-2022 season as the No. 1 recruit in the country coming out of St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. During her time at St. John’s, she was the Gatorade Washington D.C. Player of the Year three times and the first sophomore ever to win Gatorade National Player of the Year recognition. In her freshman season, Fudd was third on the team at UConn averaging 12.1 points. She was also named to the NCAA Tournament Bridgeport All-Region Team and was a first-team All-Big East pick. Fudd has built one of the strongest NIL brands in women’s sports. She’s built a partnership with Curry Brand and has starred in commercials for American Eagle Outfitters, TikTok, BioSteel and Chipotle.
