Brady Cook has a college resume that could easily give him a big head heading into the 2024 season. He's a three-year starter that led the Missouri Tigers to new heights in the 2023 season by passing for 3,189 yards, 20 touchdowns and with only six interceptions. But Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz is perfectly content with Cook being the best version of himself. “I’m constantly hammering him with: ‘We don’t need a celebrity quarterback, we need a battlefield commander,’" Drinkwitz said. “Brady’s always been a leader. I think there’s so much respect for him in that room because people have seen him be consistent – good, bad or indifferent – although last year I didn’t see anybody fly around in helicopters for NIL deals. We’ll see if that affects him any.”
