Bryson Tiller Scouting Summary
Jamie Shaw
11/27/23

Bryson Tiller has a strong and physically developed frame with good length. Tiller is a good athlete in straight lines. When he plays from the mid post and in he is a strong presence. Playing downhill off one dribble he has a lot of success. Tiller is a good rebounder, he is active and high points the ball with strong hands. Has a tendency to dribble or dance with the ball in the half court where he lacks the burst or counters to get downhill. Is an average to below shooter, needs to extend the range and continue to develop the touch. He is a physical defender on the block. Has good explosion, there are questions about his lateral movement. He has constantly been a double-double force when playing 10-feet and in.

Personal Life

Bryson Tiller established himself as a well-known player all the way back in the 8th grade when he played for Atlanta Xpress at the U17 level. He then made national headlines again as a sophomore when he became the youngest player to sign with Overtime Elite, a professional basketball league for late high school and early college-level players. Tiller waived the $100,000 guaranteed salary from OTE in order to maintain his college eligibility. “I describe myself as a versatile forward who can put the ball on the floor, dribble, and defend multiple positions,” Tiller told On3. “I watch a lot of Jayson Tatum. He has versatility on both ends, able to guard multiple positions. That's what I pride myself on being able to do, too.”
