Scouting Report
Caleb Foster has excellent positional size. His calling card is his jump shot. It is smooth, with excellent balance off the catch. He has range and a high, repeatable release. Foster lacks blow-by speed in the half-court and is reliant on his change of pace and handle. Foster is a solid athlete. He plays poised, is never rattled, and has been on the biggest stages for a while. Smaller, quicker guards can frustrate him when they get under him, but he moves the ball well and is an excellent pitch-ahead passer.

Personal Life
Caleb Foster transferred for his senior season of high school basketball to Sherman Oaks (California) Notre Dame. During his junior year, Foster was the starting point guard for the powerhouse program Oak Hill Academy and played well for the Warriors. He led the team to a 32-8 overall record while averaging 11.9 points on 53% from the field. In addition to scoring, Foster chipped in with 3.8 rebounds per game and 4.5 assists against just 1.6 turnovers per contest. Foster made the move to Notre Dame after legendary Oak Hill coach Steve Smith retired. “They explained they had done the prep school thing and were looking for a regular high school experience and wanted to come to California,” Notre Dame coach Matt Sargeant said.
