Cameron Thomas played three years at Carlsbad (Calif.) High but wasn’t a high recruit. He made his way to San Diego, where he played in one game in 2018 and redshirted. But the next year, Thomas broke out. He was the only freshman named to the all-Mountain West first team. He then became the second Aztec defensive lineman to earn the honor twice in 2020. He is the son of Wendy and Mike Thomas. His older brother, Zachary Thomas, is a starting offensive lineman for the Aztecs. He.is majoring in social science at San Diego State.
