Personal Life

Dante Stills was an On3 Consensus four-star recruit and the No. 1 prospect coming out of West Virginia in the Class of 2018. He picked WVU over offers from Georgia, Penn State, Oklahoma, Miami and numerous others. At West Virginia, Stills has emerged as one of the nation’s top defensive linemen. Entering the 2022 season, he’s the program’s active leader in career sacks and tackles for a loss. Stills was also already third in program history in career tackles for a loss and sixth in sacks. Those stats helped him garner preseason first-team all-conference honors from four different publications. In 2021, Stills was a first-team All-Big 12 pick after racking up 15 tackles for a loss. He earned second-team All-Big 12 honors in 2020 and 2019. Stills was a freshman All-American in 2018. His parents are Gary Stills and Janeen Floyd. His brother, Darius, was a consensus All-American and All-Big 12 defensive lineman at WVU. His father was an All-Big East linebacker at WVU for Hall of Fame coach Don Nehlen, before enjoying a successful pro career with the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and St. Louis Rams. He is majoring in multidisciplinary studies.
