Personal Life

David Ojabo didn’t play football until he was a junior in high school. The son of Victor and Ngor Ojabo, David was born in Nigeria in 2000 and moved to Scotland in 2007. He crossed the pond to the United States in high school to attend Blair Academy in New Jersey. He originally thought basketball was going to be his ticket to a free college education but soon realized his journey would take him to the football field. He was Michigan’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year in 2019 and was a special teamer in 2020. But he broke out in 2021 that put him on the path to an early-round selection in the NFL Draft. Throughout this entire time, Ojabo’s parents never saw him play a football game live. That will change when they attend the 2021 edition of The Game.
