Personal Life
DeMarvin Leal was a consensus five-star recruit coming out of Converse (Texas) Judson. He was considered one of the best players in the state and was named an Army All-American. Leal made an impact the moment he arrived at campus. He played in each game during his freshman season, including seven starts, and won the team’s defensive top newcomer award. He started all 10 games during the 2020 COVID season where he was a menace on defenses and on the team’s defensive MVP award. He hopes to start a Boys and Girls club in his community.
