Deniya Prawl is confident in her game and her leadership abilities. "I want the ball in my hands when it's clutch time," Prawl told Team Canda. "I know I can make the big shot, or I can make sure it gets to the right teammate in the right spot." Prawl was named the Most Valuable Player at the 13th edition of the Basketball Without Borders Americas Camp in the summer of 2024. She was also selected to represent Canada at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024. She won a silver medal with the U16 team at the Americas Championships in 2023. Prawl is originally from Toronto, Canada, but she played her high school basketball at IMG Academy in Florida.
