There were few, if any, two-sport athletes better than Drake London in the 2019 recruiting cycle. At Moorpark (Calif.) High, he was a superstar at both sports. During his senior year, he had 62 catches for 1,089 yards and 12 touchdowns on the gridiron and averaged 29.2 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists on the hardwood. He committed to play both at USC and did for his freshman season. But London gave up basketball after the 2020 football season. “I think he made the right decision,” USC men’s basketball coach Andy Enfield said at the time. London is the son of Dwan and Cindi London. Cindi told the VC Star in 2019 that her son’s first words were “ball, ball.” He is the younger brother of Makayla London, a model and influencer with over 406,000 followers on Instagram. London is majoring in communications at USC.
