Dylan Lonergan has a cannon for an arm – both in football and in baseball. On the gridiron, Lonergan led Brookwood to a 10-3 record as a junior and a Georgia Class 7A state quarterfinal appearance. In baseball, he’s a star with a 90-mph fastball that puts him in the 99.96% of high school pitchers, according to Perfect Game metrics. His father, Dan Lonergan, played quarterback at Penn State in the early 1980s. He was also a member of the 1982 Nittany Lion national championship squad. Away from the fields, Lonergan likes playing golf and has a 3.96 grade-point average. His mother is Jean Lonergan.
