Elizabeth Kitley entered the 2022-2023 season as a preseason All-America pick and the ACC preseason Player of the Year. In 2022, Kitley was the ACC’s Player of the Year, a first-team All-ACC pick for the second straight year and a third-team AP All-American. Kitley also scored a program-record 42 points in the NCAA Tournament against FGCU. She backed that up with another unforgettable 2022-2023 season. She was named ACC Player of the Year again and was named a finalist for the Naismith National Player of the Year award. In the 2019-2020 season, Kitley was the ACC’s Freshman of the Year. Coming out of high school, Kitley was a five-star prospect and a two-time state champion at Northwest Guilford High School.
