Originally from Eastport (New Yok) Eastport-South Manor High School, Ellie Masera is one of the nation’s top lacrosse players. As a freshman in 2021, she was selected to the America East All-Rookie Team. Masera was also the youngest player invited to the June 9-11 tryout for the U.S. national team that competed in the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship. Masera produced 17 goals, which tied for the team lead among freshmen. She had one assist, 13 ground balls, six caused turnovers and 25 draw controls in 18 games. In high school, she was an Under Armour All-American during her senior season. Masera is the daughter of Susan and Ronald Masera. She has three sisters, Emily, Allison and Caitlin. Emily plays lacrosse at Binghamton. Masera is a biology major. Masera has also been active on the NIL front, signing a deal with Brine Lacrosse, one of the top lacrosse brands in the industry.
