Enai White Scouting Summary
Charles Power
10/27/21

Long EDGE prospect with a considerable frame and physical upside. Has supreme length and a big frame with 35-inch arms and 10-inch hands. Is built like a forward in basketball. Lean at 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, but plays with strength that belies his size. At his best as a run defender and in pursuit at this stage. Uses his length to shed offensive linemen and corral ball carriers. Closes quickly in pursuit and runs down plays from behind. Raw technically as a pass rusher and often relies on a bull rush. Will need to add pass rush moves and continue improving his first step at the next level. With that said, he does show some natural dip around the edge. Played a shortened junior season in the spring of 2021 after the fall season was moved due to COVID-19.

Personal Life

From sixth grade to his freshman year of high school, Enai White thought his future was going to be on a basketball court. He gained attention playing for Team Final on the AAU circuit. Because he was so much bigger than everyone his age, White played up until seventh grade, before reclassifying and playing in his own age group. White said in eighth grade he had to sit at a teacher’s desk since his knees would bang up against the bottom of the normal-sized desks. White started his high school career at The Pennington School in New Jersey before transferring to Imhotep Institute. His sophomore season was sidetracked by a concussion. His junior year was wiped out due to COVID-19. The Philadelphia Public League opted to play in the spring of 2021, but White broke two ribs in practice and missed almost the whole spring season. White plans on majoring in business in college. His mother is Adrienne Ellington.
