Originally from Spencerport (New York) High School, Erin Coykendall arrived at Northwestern as one of the nation’s top lacrosse recruits. After appearing in seven games in 2020, Coykendall played a key role in the Wildcats winning the regular season Big Ten Championship in 2021. She then exploded in 2022 with an unforgettable season. She started all 21 games and recorded 45 goals, 37 assists, 82 points and 14 ground balls. She was named First-Team All-Big Ten. She also was tabbed as a USA Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American. Coykendall also ranked third in the Big Ten and 18th nationally in assist. She also was fourth in the Big Ten in points per game (3.90) and eighth in goals. Coykendall's parents are Scott and Jennifer Coykendall. She is majoring in communications.
