Jack Sawyer prides himself on being consistent. It's why he returned to Ohio State for his senior season. He could have bolted for the NFL Draft ahead of the 2024 season, but he wanted to fine tune his game and display the consistency that it takes to play at the next level. “You saw what happens when you build off the first year into the second year, how big of a jump you can take,” Sawyer said. “I still think, personally, I have another big jump to take this year. It's why I came back.” Through his first three seasons with the Buckeyes, Sawyer had 14 sacks and is coming off his best season yet where he had 6.5 sacks and 48 tackles.
