Reminds Us Of

Jake Taylor reminds us of Jonah Williams due to his technical ability and quick feet at offensive tackle. Both were similar size and tested as plus athletes at the position. They also both played at top high school programs with Williams manning the blindside at NorCal powerhouse Folsom while Taylor worked as a right tackle for Las Vegas Bishop Gorman.

Scouting Report
Light-footed, versatile offensive lineman who plays with a nasty mean streak. Has some of the best agility marks in the 2022 cycle among offensive linemen with a 4.59 second short shuttle. Transfers that agility over to the field where he moves well both as a second level run blocker and in pass protection. Plays with an aggressive, mean attitude and pushes the limits on playing to and sometimes past the whistle. Physical and embraces contact. Has played well at one of the nation’s top high school programs. Works as a right tackle but could project at a variety of spots at the next level. Does not have prototypical arm length for offensive tackle.
