Jakia Brown-Turner was an All-ACC Tournament second-team selection in the 2021-2022 season. Brown-Turner also scored a season-high 20 points in the Pack’s Elite Eight game against UConn. She was also clutch as she drained a three in the corner to tie the game and send it to a second overtime. During the 2020-2021 season, she was an honorable mention Associated Press All-American and a first-team All-ACC pick after scoring in double figures 20 times, including the first 13 games in a row. Brown-Turner was an All-ACC Freshman team honoree in the 2019-2020 season. She ranked fourth among all freshmen in program history with a .368 (43-117) three-point field goal percentage. Prior to NC State, she was a McDonald’s All-American and named the 2019 Maryland Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
