Jizzle James is a tough-minded lead guard. Standing around 6-foot-2, he is a paint-touch guy with the ball in his hands. He gets downhill with a quick first step and can absorb the contact in the paint. James will need to continue enhancing his decision-making in traffic, but he does have good floor vision. James has great balance and, for the most part, plays off two feet. The jump shot needs work, both off the bounce and the catch; elevating that to respectable would only make his speed and first step even more dangerous. There is a lot of upside on the defensive end as a strong, tough point-of-attack defender. James is the son of former NFL All-Pro running back Edgerrin James.
