Jordan Hawkins was ranked as a four-star recruit and a top 100 overall prospect coming out of DeMatha Catholic High School, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. During his freshman season at UConn, he appeared in 27 games, with four starts, and was impressive enough to be named to the 2022 Big East All-Freshman Team. He emerged as one of the top scorers in the country during the 2022-2023 season for the Huskies with an average of more than 16 points a game and shooting 38% from 3-point range. He was recognized for his play in the 2023 NCAA tournament by being named to the All-West Regional team. He scored 24 points against Arkansas and 20 points against Gonzaga to lead the Huskies to the Final Four. Along with first-team all-league honors, Hawkins was also selected as one of five finalists for the 2023 Jerry West Award, which is given each year to the top shooting guards. Hawkins is represented in NIL dealings by Creative Artists Agency. He also signed an NIL deal with Dunkin’ before the start of the 2023 NCAA tournament.
