Joshisa Trader Scouting Summary
Charles Power
04/06/22

Savvy receiver with signs of a well-rounded skill set as he enters his junior season. Uses his natural shake and change of direction as a route-runner, where he is one of the more technically-advanced receivers early on in the 2024 cycle. Has shown the ability to break off defensive backs with his start-stop ability. A fluid, natural mover in the route and after-catch phases. Shows the ability to track the football downfield. Already has above average size at over 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds. Made big plays against big-time competition in South Florida on a consistent basis.

Personal Life

Chaminade-Madonna coach Dameon Jones calls Joshisa Trader one of the most “dynamic playmakers” he’s ever coached. But Jones also said Trader is one of the most “charismatic players” he’s been around, too. For example, Trader spearheads and choreographs Chaminade-Madonna’s touchdown celebrations. “I did a bowling one,” Trader said during the 2022 season. “We did a bean bag race. We did a ‘taste like’ dance. We did a row the boat. We like to have fun.” Even with all the fun, Trader is serious about football, and it shows. Trader finished his junior season with 743 yards and seven scores while averaging 15.8 yards a catch. He had 592 yards and six scores as a sophomore. “The little details are really the big thing,” he said. “The big picture.”
