Scouting Report
High upside pass catcher with the traits to become a high-end X receiver. One of the most physically imposing top wide receivers in the 2025 cycle. Measured at around 6-foot-4, 205 pounds prior to his senior season. Has plus length for the position. Has the frame to top out at 220+ once he gets in a college strength program. Moves like a much smaller player. Shows the ability to stack corners off the line of scrimmage. Can gear down and drop his weight within his routes. Runs well and has the ability to separate vertically. Size, length and vertical bounce give him a large catch radius when his technique is aligned. Flashes body control in contested situations. Capable of coming down with fantastic one-handed grabs. Physical and tough to bring down after the catch. Totaled close to 1,900 yards and 20 touchdowns between his sophomore and junior seasons. Will have to improve the finer points to his game with route-running and overall technique. Can improve catching cleanly with proper technique. Allows the ball to get into his body at times. One of the youngest top wide receivers in the 2025 cycle, turning 17 years-old in April of his junior year. Developmental projection at receiver with a very high ceiling with continued development.

Personal Life
Even though he developed a reputation as one of the best players in the country while in high school, West Broward coach Brian McCartney feels Joshua Moore's better years are still ahead of him. "He's really only started to scratch the surface of what he can do," McCartney told 247Sports. "Some of the things he does now are pretty freak-like though. For as big as he is, he can move like a slot receiver." And he has a high ceiling, according to his high school position coach Kadeem Goulbourne, who played college football at Austin Peay. "His ceiling is very high," Goulbourne said about Moore, who racked up more than 1,000 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns in 2022. "I think some technique, getting stronger in the weight room. That is really just his age more than anything. You can see that a lot. It's there, but just needs to be primed up."
