Versatile defensive lineman who has seen considerable physical development later in his high school career. Measured in at 6-foot-3.5, 275 pounds prior to his senior season. Arms check in at 32.5 inches. Added well over 30 pounds in the off-season before his senior year. Lines up as a big defensive end for his high school and slides inside at times. Employs an effective bull rush. Shows quick hands, swatting to disengage from offensive linemen. Has the ability to set the edge against the run, particularly when matched up on smaller offensive tackles. Has worked on his game over the years. Missed some time in the back part of his senior season with an injury. Allows himself to get knocked back and blocked at times as an interior run defender. Still adjusting to moving with the added mass. Projects as a 4i in a 3-man front at the next level.
