Personal Life

My name is Kason Coppick, and I’m a Class of 2028 student-athlete at Reed City High School in Michigan. I play Running Back and Linebacker, and I’m currently 6’0”, 200 pounds. I take pride in being a physical, versatile player who can impact the game on both sides of the ball. In addition to football, I compete in Varsity Track & Field, where I run the 100m, 4x100 relay, and compete in the long jump. Track has helped me develop my speed, explosiveness, and overall athleticism, which I bring onto the football field. During the offseason, I train with Coach Wynns at Rising Stars Academy in Southfield, MI, where I compete on a travel 7v7 team. I’ve been part of the program for the past three years, and it has helped me grow by competing against top talent and improving my skill set year-round. In the classroom, I take pride in my academics. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and have been recognized as an Academic All-State athlete. For the past two years, I have also been a member of the RCHS Youth Advisor Committee, where I’ve had the opportunity to develop leadership skills and be involved in my school community. I come from a strong, supportive family. I live with my mom, Tawny, my dad, Matthew, and my sister, Luxy. They’ve helped shape who I am and continue to push me to be my best in everything I do. I’m a hard worker who’s always looking to improve. Whether it’s in the weight room, at practice, or studying the game, I’m focused on getting better every day. I value being coachable, disciplined, and a great teammate. I’m grateful to have earned a Division 1 offer from Kent State, and I’m motivated to keep working, building relationships with coaches, and proving myself as I continue my football journey.
