Lexi Donarski entered the 2022-2023 season at Iowa State as one of the top returning players in the Big 12 Conference. She was named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year for the 2021-2022 season after winning Freshman Player of the Year in 2020-2021. In conference play in 2021-2022, Donarski held the opponent she was primarily responsible for defending to 9.3 points and 30% from the field.
