Hey, I’m Markell Bailey, a passionate two-sport athlete at North Central High School after transferring from Franklin Central. Football and track are my world—I love the thrill of making explosive plays as a wide receiver and locking down receivers as a defensive back. My speed, hands, and instincts help me shine on both sides of the ball, and I’m always pushing to get better. As a sophomore, I had a breakout year with 36 catches for 629 yards and 15 touchdowns. There’s nothing like hauling in a deep ball or making a contested grab to change the game. On the track, sprinting and jumping keeps me sharp, building the burst I bring to the field every Friday night. I’ve been blessed with offers from Western Michigan and Miami University (Ohio) so far, and I’m grinding for more. As the middle child of five siblings growing up in Indianapolis , Indiana, my family keeps me grounded and motivated— they’ve taught me hard work, resilience, and how to lead by example. I’m coachable, competitive, and ready to take my game to the college level.
