The skill is the take away after watching Matthew Hodge. In the 6-7, 6-8 range, he always seems to play on balance, off two feet and never out of control. He can shoot with range and a quick, consistent release and he can process in the half court with precise passes from different angles and levels. The athleticism is the question, and how well does he move laterally. He moves well off the ball, seems to often be in the right spot at the right time. Like to see him continue to develop off the bounce. Dad, O’Dell Hodge, was all-league for multiple years at ODU and played pro overseas. A high IQ player.
