NakobeDean

Nakobe Dean was a five-star recruit according to the On3 Consensus coming out of Horn Lake, Miss. His senior year was one for the history books. He led Horn Lake High to its first Class 6A state title, a 15-0 record and No. 1 state ranking. He had 175 tackles and won Gatorade State High School Football Player, Mississippi Mr. Football for Class 6A and . 2018 High School Butkus Award He also played baseball, basketball and track at Horn Lake. He was Georgia’s Defensive Newcomer of the Year in 2019. He continued elevating his game as a sophomore, taking over starting role and finishing as a Butkus Award semifinalist. Dean is the son of Neketta and Byron Dean. His brother, Nikolas Dean, played at Ole Miss for a season and gradated in 2020 with a degree in exercise science. Dean was a straight-A student in high school and is a mechanical engineering major at Georgia. He has stated he hopes to attend medical school.
