Smooth, coordinated pass catcher with strong athletic markers and a big catch radius. A standout in the camp setting, both from an athletic testing perspective and in drill work. Fluid and coordinated, moving very well for his size. Changes direction with ease. Sinks his hips to sell movement within his routes. A natural hands-catcher with the ability to adjust to poorly thrown balls, particularly those thrown behind him. Has long arms which aid in his catch radius. Plays for one of the top high school programs in Houston, but is not as heavily targeted as some other top receiver prospects, due to Katy's run-heavy scheme. Is more of an athletic and skill set projection.

Nicholas Anderson originally committed to Oregon. But the receiver changed his mind in November of his senior year and pledged to Oklahoma instead. Perhaps the flip was in the cards the entire time. Anderson’s older brother, Rodney, played running back for OU before heading to the NFL. Like his brother, Anderson is a strong athlete with sneaky quickness and a high football IQ. His football smarts are unsurprising considering he plays at perennial power Katy. Anderson is said to have some of the best hands in the state. He lists his hobbies as playing basketball and sleeping. He plans to major in sports marketing. His father is Rodney Anderson Sr.
