Scouting Report
Physically-gifted signal caller with one of the quickest releases in the 2022 cycle. A natural thrower of the football with the ability to dot passes with velocity to all levels of the field. Drives the ball from the far hash to the sideline with ease. Also a good athlete for the position. Has light feet in the pocket. Began to run more as a senior, rushing for double-digit touchdowns as a senior. Faces tough competition and is not surrounded by a ton of talent on his team. Was plagued by an inordinate amount of drops as a senior. Drug his team into the playoffs as a senior. Just a two-year starter who is still gaining experience in seeing the field. Had a tendency to press at times in an effort to make plays for his team, leading to some mistakes. Upside is among the highest in the cycle if he develops properly at the next level.

Personal Life
Nick Evers, a former On3 Consensus four-star recruit out of Flower Mound (Texas) High School, burst onto the recruiting scene following a compelling performance as a junior, a campaign that saw him throw for 25 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Evers then earned an invite to the national Elite 11 quarterback camp prior to his senior year, solidifying himself as one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects. He signed with Oklahoma in the 2022 recruiting cycle, turning down a long list of national scholarship offers. But he entered the Transfer Portal after seeing action in only one game and not attempting a pass in the 2202 season. Like so many top-rated quarterbacks, Evers employs a private QB tutor. His is Kevin Murray, the father of Kyler Murray of NFL fame. Evers lists hanging out with his friends and family as his hobby. He plans on majoring in business or sports medicine in college. His parents are Derrick and Monica Evers.
