Omarion Miller Scouting Summary
Charles Power
05/23/22

All-around playmaker who was one of the more productive receivers in the 2023 cycle as a junior. Totaled 76 catches for 1,502 yards and 20 touchdowns during the 2021 season. Has good size, measuring 6-foot-2.5, 185 pounds with a 6-foot-4.5 wing-span. Owns a well-rounded skill set with no true dominant trait. Makes plays at all three levels of the field. Can play above the rim, sinks his hips and separates at the intermediate level. Can be dynamic with the ball in his hands behind the line of scrimmage. Polished route runner at this stage who runs the full route tree. High floor prospect with his overall ceiling ultimately being decided by what looks to be limited burst and top end speed at this juncture.

Personal Life

Omarion Miller graduated from Vivian (Louisiana) North Caddo as a four-star recruit and the No. 37 receiver prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rating. He finished his high school career with 154 receptions for 3,492 yards and 43 touchdowns in 30 games, averaging 116.4 yards per game and 22.7 yards per catch. North Caddo offensive coordinator Reagan Smith, who has coached some impressive prospects like Terrace Marshall and others through the years, says Miller is among the best he's ever worked with. "He might have a little swagger, but he’s not in anybody’s face or acting like he’s better than anybody," Smith said. "He plays with us, not over us. He’s still really good. There’s this calm, collected, focused drive to compete, but not to be crazy. He has everything you want and athleticism that jumps off the charts.” For much of the recruiting process, Miller was committed to Nebraska, but he decommitted and eventually signed with Colorado after coaching changes in Lincoln and Boulder. He was also committed to LSU at one point during the recruiting process before a coaching change also occurred in Baton Rouge.
