Personal Life

Paris Johnson Jr. arrived at Ohio State ahead of the 2020 season as an On3 Five-Star Plus+ recruit from Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton High School. Johnson was also ranked as the 10th-best recruit in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. During his time at Ohio State, Johnson started 26 consecutive games in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. In the 2022 season, Johnson earned unanimous All-America honors as a left tackle from the Walter Camp Foundation, Football Writers Association of America and American Football Coaches Association. He was also a first-team All-Big Ten pick in 2022 and a second-team all-league selection in 2021. Johnson graduated in less than three years with a degree in journalism. He was also a credentialed member of the media while writing for Ohio State’s school newspaper. His mother is Monica Johnson.
