Prentice Mackyeon Jr. is a strong safety/ linebacker at John Curtis Christian School in River Ridge, LA. PJ, as he is known to his coaches, family, and friends, plays Football and runs track at the varsity level. Prentice also played basketball through his sophomore year but gave it up to focus on football. Prentice has the ability to come down and apply pressure to quarterbacks, fill the gaps and assist in stopping the run, make open-field tackles, and defend any area of the field. A ball hawk, PJ has piled up 47 tackles, 6 interceptions, and 8 passes defended in his junior campaign. These stats earned him 1st Team All-District, New Orleans All-Metro, LFCA 2nd team All-State, and LSWA All-State Honorable Mention.
