Ricky White cemented his status as one of the top players in the country outside of the Power Four during a record-breaking 2023 season. White posted a school-record 1,483 receiving yards in 2023 and he entered 2024 as a preseason All-American. “When your best player is your hardest worker, then things seem to trend to go in the right direction,” UNLV coach Barry Odom said. “That doesn’t guarantee you’re going to win X amount of games, but for Rickt, the way he's approached everyday habits and work ethic, the things that he's done from a leadership standpoint from our bowl game last year until today is as good as I’ve seen.”
